This website is provided for the information of prospective and current candidates, participants and the public. You may view, download and print material from the site for personal, non-commercial reference.

The Institute takes care to keep published information — including program content, fees and dates — accurate and current. Where a change is unavoidable, registered candidates are notified directly; the version of the fee schedule referenced in an offer of registration is the version that binds.

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of registration or a contract of enrollment in a program. Registration for programs is offered only in writing by the Program Office. Online courses are sold separately, on the terms below.

Each online course is sold for a one-time price and gives the purchaser personal access to that course in the CBI student portal. Refunds are governed by the Institute's 14-day money-back guarantee, set out in the refund policy.

The Complete Collection gives the purchaser personal access to all six online courses for one price. It is refunded as a whole under the same 14-day money-back guarantee: a refund may be requested within 14 days of purchase, provided that fewer than three classes have been watched in total and no assignment has been submitted in any of its courses. A signed-in purchaser who already owns one or more of the courses is offered the collection at its price less the price of each course already owned.

The video classes in the Institute's online courses are generated with artificial intelligence (AI). The Institute produces its classes this way to keep every class at a consistently high quality and standard, and to keep courses current as the material is revised. The curriculum, textbook, study guide, quizzes, exams and case assignments follow the syllabus for each module.

Quizzes are marked automatically. Written answers in exams and case assignments are marked with AI assistance against the published marking criteria, and the Institute reviews marking it has flagged for review.

By purchasing an online course, the purchaser acknowledges that its video classes are AI-generated and that written work is marked as described above.

The name, mark and seal of the California Business Institute, and all content on this site, are the property of the Institute and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without written consent.

To the extent permitted by law, the Institute accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on material published on this website, or from interruption of the website's availability.

These terms are reviewed annually. The date of the last review is recorded at the head of this page; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the terms then in force.
