Overview

The Professional Diploma in Finance & Investment Management is a twelve-month, full-time quantitative program for investment, corporate finance and capital-markets work.

The course moves from analytical foundations to valuation, portfolio construction, risk and transaction analysis, with regular modelling assignments and live-market discussion.

Participants complete an applied investment project reviewed against professional standards for clarity, evidence and risk discipline.

Learning goals

On completion of the program, participants are able to:

  2. 02Construct and stress-test multi-asset portfolios against explicit mandates.
  3. 03Use derivative instruments for hedging and structured exposure.
  4. 04Evaluate M&A and restructuring transactions from strategic rationale to closing mechanics.
  5. 05Apply fiduciary and professional standards to investment decisions and client duties.

Entry requirements

  • Prior study, professional training, or work experience showing quantitative preparation.
  • Demonstrated competence in calculus, linear algebra and statistics; a diagnostic exercise may be set before registration.
  • Professional experience is valued but not required.
  • Two references and proof of English proficiency where applicable.
